British-Mexican-American Sze Tsung Nicolás Leong’s first three series, History Images, Horizons, and Cities, investigate the formations of dense urban communities around the globe. For his more recent body of work, Paris, Novembre, he wandered the city in the days following the 2015 terrorist attack and made abstractions of the pavement to evoke the tragedy’s intense emotional toll.
